In the field of round bar processing for materials such as wood and plastics, multi-strip round bar mills, with their core advantage of “multi-station simultaneous processing,” have become key equipment for mass production of round bars. Compared to the low efficiency and limited capacity of traditional single-strip round bar mills, they can simultaneously cut and grind multiple raw materials, significantly improving production efficiency. They are widely used in the large-scale manufacturing of round bar products such as furniture accessories, handicrafts, and tool handles, making them a powerful processing tool that balances quantity and precision.

From a structural design perspective, the core of multi-strip round bar mills lies in their “multi-station collaborative architecture” and “precision guidance system.” The main body of the equipment includes a feeding mechanism, multiple cutting units, a grinding assembly, and a discharge device. The feeding mechanism uses a multi-channel conveyor track, capable of simultaneously accommodating 3-8 raw materials (the exact number depends on the machine model). Adjustable speed conveyor rollers ensure the raw materials enter the processing area at a uniform speed and smoothly. The cutting unit is equipped with multiple sets of high-speed rotating alloy cutters. The cutters have preset cutting trajectories based on the diameter of the round bar, enabling simultaneous circumferential cutting of multiple raw materials to quickly remove excess material and initially form round bars. The grinding assembly is equipped with multiple sets of abrasive belts of varying coarseness to finely grind the cut round bars, removing surface burrs and tool marks, ensuring a smooth surface. The discharge device has a material distribution channel to prevent the processed round bars from colliding with each other, ensuring orderly collection of finished products. Furthermore, the equipment is equipped with precise positioning baffles and a pressure adjustment device, which can be flexibly adjusted according to the diameter and material of the raw materials to ensure consistent processing dimensions for each round bar, with an error controlled within 0.1 mm.

In terms of performance advantages, the core highlights of the multi-line round bar mill are “high-efficiency mass production” and “stable and controllable operation.” In terms of efficiency, taking the 4-station model as an example, it can process 300-500 round bars per hour, which is 3-5 times that of a single-line round bar machine, easily meeting the batch production needs of small and medium-sized factories. Regarding processing stability, its drive system uses a variable frequency motor, which can adjust the cutting speed and feed speed according to the hardness of the raw materials (such as solid wood, plastic, and MDF), avoiding problems such as material breakage and decreased processing accuracy caused by improper speed. For example, when processing hard solid wood, reducing the feed speed and increasing the tool speed ensures smooth cutting and reduces wood cracking. Simultaneously, the equipment is equipped with an overload protection device; when raw material jams at a certain station, the system will automatically stop and sound an alarm to prevent equipment damage and ensure production safety.

In terms of applicable scenarios, multiple round bar machines cover the needs of “processing round bars of multiple materials and specifications”. In the furniture industry, it can be used to mass-produce wooden round rod accessories such as table and chair legs, wardrobe hanging rods, and drawer handles, providing standardized parts for furniture assembly; in the field of handicrafts, it can process small products such as wooden bracelet blanks and plastic decorative round rods, and with subsequent carving and coloring processes, it can create exquisite handicrafts; in the tool manufacturing industry, it can be used to process tool accessories such as screwdriver handles and hammer handles, and improve the grip comfort of the handles through fine polishing.
